The Location

Feock and Devoran are set around wooded creeks, Restronguet Creek being the largest - a haven for birdlife. Loe Beach has a sailing school and beach cafe. The Punchbowl and Ladle pub at Penelewey serves excellent food. There is also a pub at Devoran called The Old Quay Inn. This is a 10 minute walk along the lane which winds along the side of the Creek.

Feock is home to Trelissick Gardens and The King Harry Ferry. The area is renowned for its beautiful coastal and creekside walks, and yet is close to Truro and Falmouth. Truro is 5 miles; Falmouth about 6 miles. The King Harry Ferry which takes you and your car to The Roseland Peninsula is 5 minutes away by car, as are the National Trust gardens of Trelissick.

The setting of Tinners is midway between Point Quay (Feock) and the village of Devoran - on the edge of the beautiful Restronguet Creek.

The Property

… on the edge of the beautiful Restronguet Creek, about ½ mile from Point Quay in Feock, a chalet-style, single-storey house with wonderful views of the creek (brilliant sunsets). On the creek side, a large, enclosed grassy garden; at the back, ponies graze beyond a fence. Ten minute walk to the good pub at Devoran. Restronguet Creek is a haven for birdlife; lots of beautiful walks and gardens nearby.

Inside, timber lined, warm and comfy.

Garden gate leads across garden (primroses in spring) to front door; living room (futon, TV/DVD/video) with creek views and French doors to wide sun deck (table/chairs); well-equipped kitchen (washing machine, microwave) with breakfast table; twin bedroom overlooking creek; bathroom (suite).

Much appreciated, relaxing chalet in an area of unspoilt beauty.

Cautionary Deposit £60.
