from the sitting room or sundeck."
The Location
Feock and Devoran
are set around wooded creeks, Restronguet Creek being the largest - a haven for
birdlife. Loe Beach has a sailing school and beach cafe. The Punchbowl
and Ladle pub at Penelewey serves excellent food. There is also a pub
at Devoran called The Old Quay Inn. This is a 10 minute walk along the lane
which winds along the side of the Creek.
Feock is home to Trelissick
Gardens and The King Harry Ferry. The area is renowned for its beautiful coastal
and creekside walks, and yet is close to Truro and Falmouth. Truro is 5 miles; Falmouth
about 6 miles. The King Harry Ferry which takes you and your car to The Roseland
Peninsula is 5 minutes away by car, as are the National Trust gardens of Trelissick.
The setting of Tinners
is midway between Point Quay (Feock) and the village of Devoran - on the edge of
the beautiful Restronguet Creek.
