The Location

Located in Feock, home to Trelissick Gardens and The King Harry Ferry, the area is renowned for its beautiful coastal and creekside walks, and yet is close to Truro and Falmouth.

Truro is 5 miles; Falmouth about 6 miles; The King Harry Ferry which takes you and your car to The Roseland Peninsula is 5 minutes by car, as are the National Trust gardens of Trelissick.

Feock is set around wooded creeks, Restronguet Creek being the largest - a haven for birdlife. Loe Beach has a sailing school and beach cafe. The Punchbowl and Ladle pub at Penelewey serves excellent food.

Seaview Farm Cottage is one of a pair of character Cornish cottages by Loe beach just half a mile from St Feock Village (Church, but no shop). There are wonderful views across the sea towards St Anthony and Falmouth from both upstairs and down. On the farm are some cattle and horses - all penned in fields - and tractors. The cottage is almost on the beach, and is well maintained by the owners who are always on hand if needed.

Loe Beach has launching facilities and access to wonderful sheltered sailing waters. Arrangements can be made to park boats behind the beach. There is also an excellent sailing school based at the beach, and a good beach cafe.

The Property

… ½ mile from Feock village and almost right on Loe Beach, a pair of traditional cottages on a working farm. Very good beach café, boat hire and excellent sailing school (windsurfing too) on the beach, with launching facilities and sheltered sailing waters (parking for boats behind beach). Friendly, welcoming owners (chocolate cake provided!).

The first semi-detached cottage has a tiny private garden and pretty sun porch for enjoying the view. From inside, lovely sea views to St Anthony and Falmouth from upstairs and down. Living room (woodburner, TV/DVD, CD player); dining room with Rayburn for cosiness; small kitchen (cooker, washing machine, microwave).

Upstairs, two light, spacious bedrooms, both looking out to sea: a double, and a twin; bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). A proper Cornish farm cottage away from the hustle and bustle.

The cottage is genuine, Cornish, welcoming and comfortable. If you are looking for a "Proper Cornish" holiday then this will suit you - away from the hustle and bustle, and not an amusement arcade for miles. Visitors receive a very warm welcome at Seaview Farm.
