The Location


The Roseland Peninsula is beautifully unspoilt, with wonderful beaches, glorious coastline, charming villages, hidden pubs and stunning scenery.  Much of it is owned by the National Trust.  The beaches and coastal walks are second to none.  There are several villages nearby - St Mawes, Porthscatho, Veryan, Gerrans, to name but a few.

St Just in Roseland is a small hamlet.  The Church of St Just in Roseland nestles alongside St Just Creek.  According to many, this is "the prettiest in Cornwall" with it's tropical style gardens filled with flowering shrubs.  It is a pleasant 10 minute walk away from Ros Creek Cottage.  If you want to venture further there are wonderful walks along the coast to St Mawes and inland.

The Property

Ros Creek cottage is situated on a low ridge with commanding views to the west over the sea and Falmouth Bay.  It also overlooks anchorages in St Just in Roseland. 

… in St Just in Roseland, just 10 minutes’ walk from the pretty creekside church, a cottage on a low ridge with commanding views over Falmouth Bay and St Just in Roseland anchorages. It is one of four converted from a small country hotel several years ago, and is freshly renovated. Small, pretty garden with good-sized terrace (table/chairs) and splendid views (terrific sunsets).

 
Split-level entrance leads down to living room with French windows, open fire, TV/DVD and CD player; kitchen/dining room (range-style cooker, dishwasher, microwave, freezer) with large windows on two sides and great views; walk-in larder and utility area (washing machine, tumble drier, fridge-freezer); downstairs loo and back door to small courtyard.


Upstairs, three bedrooms: master double (5’ bed) with balcony (table/chairs), and a twin with en suite shower-room (suite), both with good sea views, and a room with 3’ bunks; bathroom (suite plus bath-shower).

Outside there is small pretty garden and a good sized terrace with garden table and chairs - perfect for eating out and enjoying the view and, hopefully, the sun!!

There is specified parking by Ros Creek Cottage, so there is no need to park on the roadside.
