The Location
Morvast is near
Porthcurnick Beach in the Rosevine area of the Roseland Peninsula, which is renowned
for its beautiful beaches and wonderful coastal walks and scenery.
Porthcurnick Beach is
a beautiful sandy beach with sheltered bathing waters and interesting rock pools
at low tide - wonderful for children and adults alike.
The fishing village of
Portscatho is a twenty minute walk along the coastal path, or 10 minutes by car.
St Mawes is approximately 15 minutes by car.
Truro can be reached via
The King Harry Car Ferry which runs all year round - every 20 minutes from both
sides of the River Fal. Without using the ferry Truro is approximately 30
minutes by car.
The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are a short drive.
There are two hotels near Morvast where lunches and evening meals are available
to non-residents.
The Roseland Peninsula
has a wealth of unspoilt beaches and coastal walks, many of them owned by The National
