The Location

St Mawes is a very picturesque seaside village with little cottages clustered around the harbour and beaches.  The little road follows the shore line along the sea front and up to St Mawes Castle on the headland. 

The village has small shops and galleries, two banks, a post office and several good restaurants.  There is a passenger  boat to Falmouth all year round, and in the summer the network of boats can take you to many other places of interest on the estuary.

Top Deck has exceptional panoramic water and coastal views.  The view includes the Percuil River, the National Trust St Anthony Headland, St Mawes quay and harbour and beyond to Falmouth Bay across to the Lizard Peninsula.   Top Deck has a complete panorama view, and it is impossible to photograph it all in one picture.

These views can be enjoyed from both inside the apartment and from the balcony.  A great variety of interesting and entertaining boating  and other activity is constantly on view.

The Property

 … close to the centre of St Mawes, is Top Deck, a comfortable second floor apartment with exceptional panoramic coastal views of harbourside life, yachts and dinghies and big ships manoeuvring in the bay.

Two short flights of stairs lead to the entrance. Spacious living room (TV/DVD, CD player) with large windows and glazed doors to balcony to take advantage of the panoramic sea view (telescope provided); kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, fridge-freezer), lovely river view.

Three bedrooms: two double (one with 5’ bed), both looking towards the river, and a single. Bathroom (suite plus bath-power-shower) and another loo (washbasin). Reserved parking for one car, 50 yards. A short hill down to the sea. 

Great base for touring or just staying in and enjoying the views of sea and boating activity.

The paranamic sea view from the living room of this apartment is breathtaking.

There is a designated parking space for one car about 50 yards away.  This is a real bonus in St Mawes, as most properties around the beach and harbour area do not have parking.
