The Location

St Mawes is a very picturesque seaside village with little cottages clustered around the harbour and beaches. The little road follows the shore line along the sea front and up to St Mawes Castle on the headland.

The village has small shops and galleries, two banks, a post office and several good restaurants. There is a passenger ferry boat to Falmouth all year round. In the summer, the network of boats can take you to many other places of interest on the estuary and down the coastline.

The Property

… looking out over St Mawes and less than 10 minutes’ walk from shops, restaurants and beaches, a detached, timber-style, single-storey house with beautiful sea views from all front rooms. Large, sheltered suntrap garden well stocked with flowers and shrubs, and an area of decking (table/chairs) with views across the Percuil River and countryside for al fresco dining.

Inside, large ‘L’ shaped living/dining room (sofa bed) with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening to decking and terrace below, and views of garden and sea; through an archway from dining area, well-equipped kitchen (microwave, larder fridge); utility room (dishwasher, washer-drier, fridge-freezer) with back door. Loo (washbasin) off entrance hall. Two bedrooms: master double (5’ bed) with lovely sea views and en suite shower-room (suite), and a twin with en suite bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). TV/Sky/DVD.

Excellent base for beaches, country walks and restaurants.

Cautionary Deposit £60.

The owners of Chy Bre have taken a great deal of care and thought in preparing the house for visitors. It is very comfortable and is beautifully furnished and equipped.
