Park in the driveway
and enter through the front stable door into a spacious hall. The living room
(TV, DVD, video, CD player) is very large with a dining area at one end with the
picture window. It has fine triple aspect views over the
gardens and river with two separate sets of doors to sun terraces. It is furnished
with comfortable furniture and attractive furnishings.
The kitchen/breakfast
room (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer) is fitted with
Poggenpohl units, and is spacious and light. There is a separate utility room
(washing machine, tumble drier) with doors to front and back gardens.
Also on the ground floor
are a double bedroom (5' bed), and a bedroom which can be a twin or single.
Both these rooms overlook the river view. A large twin bedroom
looks over the gardens. Bathroom/WC and separate shower room/WC.
Stairs lead to a landing
and master double bedroom (5' bed) with a balcony and en-suite bathroom. This
bedroom also has a wonderful river and garden view. A twin
bedroom and separate bathroom are also upstairs. All the bedrooms are attractive
with co-ordinated furnishings. All the bathrooms have heated towel rails.
The gardens are beautiful
with several terrace areas. At the front is a circular terrace, lawns and
shrubs, and paths lead round the house between tropical plants to more terraces
facing the water. There is a garden gate to a footpath which winds along the
edge of the water.
Freshwater boatyard is
just along the beach for boat services and launching. Private
parking.
Best for maximum 8 adults and 2 small children. Family groups only.
